The One the only

“One who fears failure limits his activities. Failure is only the opportunity to more intelligently begin again.”

-Henry Ford

This quote reminded me of a conversation I recently had with my friend Linda Murnane Ryan . Linda and I talked about all the lessons we have learned on our journey in personal development. One thing Linda mentioned she had learned on her journey was that we were all meant to repeat things over and over until we came to the understanding of what our true lesson was.We were meant to do things over and over until we got what our heart desired. Basically we were meant to keep doing things and failing at them until we got them right.

Think about all the lessons you learn in life before you get to your desired outcome– A good example would be finally finding “THE ONE” or even finding the job you always dreamed of. How many people did you date until you found your Happily Ever After? How many jobs did you go through before you found yourself happy in your career? For most people their “Happily Ever After/The One” ends up being someone totally different than any of the other people they ever dated before, and their Dream Job ends up being something totally different than they have ever experienced before. It is only when we identify and acknowledge the different choices we made, to get to our desired outcome, that we learn the lessons we were meant to learn.

Learning our lesson often takes doing the same things over and over again until we decide to do something different. When we finally do something different …then we embrace the opportunity to more intelligently begin again. As Linda says then and only then we will appreciate…The One, The Dream, and Happily Ever After. Wishing each of you a Magical Week!
