This morning I posted a quote by Eleanor Roosevelt on my Facebook page. I try to post something daily on my pages to inspire and encourage others. One of my friends asked me how I stayed so positive. Well, the fact of the matter is I do not! Staying in a positive frame of mind is hard and takes work. I told her that I write, journal, speak and talk myself back into a positive state.
I also try to surround myself with people that lift me up instead of knock me down and I reach out to others for joint reasons. To help them and because helping others makes me happy. If I stopped a moment and rolled in the obstacles in life I would never see the light. So I make my own light! I think a lot of us, if not most of us, make our own light, or at least want to.
As with everything it takes doing things over and over to master a skill. Even then we as humans will not totally master the skill of eternal bliss but I know I would like to come as close to it as I can. When things are not going just as I plan I remind myself of Eleanor Roosevelt’s quote. It reinforces that I am truly blessed to have the ability to LIVE. When I am afraid of changes her quote reminds me to reach out eagerly and without fear. When I am embarking on a new journey that I know could enrich my life. I silently thank Eleanor for her contributions to the world.
Wishing everyone many blessings and inviting you to reflect on the purpose of life.
Much Love!

“The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences.” ~ Eleanor Roosevelt
